First-Responders and Military:  Half price cash at the gate any day with proof of service.   While we realize that many of our guests play an important role in safety and healthcare, qualifying First-Responders are limited to Police, Corrections Officers, Firefighters, and EMT personnel.

The Graveyard Sound Off Official Rules 

1. Registration begins at 3:00pm Saturday Sept 20 and cut off time is 5:00pm OR when the 10th entrant is booked in each category. This cut off time will be enforced unless an extension is agreed to by the judges. Judging starts at 7pm. 

2. Entry fee buyin of $50 per vehicle put 100% towards prize payouts

3. SONG CHOICE - Participant will choose an appropriate song to play for the Judges. PLEASE NOTE – EXCESSIVE PROFANITY or VULGAR LANGUAGE will DISQUALIFY a contestant. Profanity or Vulgarity will be determined solely by the Judges.

4. Each contestant will have one minute to play their chosen song

5. Songs may be accessed through judges’ official USB drive, via Bluetooth technology, or through Side x Side owner’s own media access.

6. Judging will be based on a series of things but not limited to bass, treble, clarity, speaker staging, system aesthetics, etc. We are listening for quality sound systems but also how the system complements your Side x Side or ATV unit.

7. Participants, to assure the contest moves efficiently, please make sure you are with your vehicle when the judges and competition need you!

8. CHEATING - if any participant is caught in violation of the requirements listed, they will be immediately disqualified from the competition.

9. Technical Issues: Each participant will have (2) two minutes to address any technical issues that they have while being judged. Judges will be the sole timekeeper in this circumstance. If the participant is unable to fix the issue the judges will move on to the next participant. The participant MAY return to the contest one time after all other participants have competed, at which time they will be scored. 

10. CATEGORIES

a. Side x Sides – 8 speakers or under – Db meter will be put at the optimum listening area of the vehicle during song playback. The highest Db reading will be recorded by the judges, with the winner being the Side x Side sound system with the highest Db reading.

b. Side x Sides – 9 speakers and over – Db meter will be put at the optimum listening area of the vehicle during song playback. The highest Db reading will be recorded by the judges, with the winner being the Side x Side sound system with the highest Db reading.

c. ATVs – all - Db meter will be put at the optimum listening area of the vehicle during song playback. The highest Db reading will be recorded by the judges, with the winner being the ATV sound system with the highest Db reading.

d. Trucks – all - Db meter will be put at the optimum listening area of the vehicle during song playback. The highest Db reading will be recorded by the judges, with the winner being the truck sound system with the highest Db reading.

PRIZES - All $50 entry fees will be included in the prize fund
